Apartment acceptance

The official moving date is just around the corner and quite a few tenants are moving to a new home. During the apartment inspection, all damages come to light. But: When is it normal wear and tear and when does the tenant have to pay? How clean should the apartment be? What should an owner pay special attention to during the apartment inspection in order to avoid trouble later on?

Your preparation:

• Rental agreement (incl. any addenda, agreements, etc.)
• Start / end of lease (terminated as of..., liability until...)
• What maintenance work and investments were made before moving in (receipts required)?
• Take the arrival protocol with you to the handover. In this way, both you and the tenant can check which defects were already present when the tenant moved in. (List of deficiencies of the tenant / landlord; handover protocol).
• Has a rent deposit been paid, if so, in what amount?
• Are there any outstanding rent payments?
• What was agreed regarding final cleaning?

**Costs

The first half hour is free for members. It is paid by the association. From the second half hour on, the services cost Fr. 75.00 per half hour plus additional expenses. The costs are collected directly by the experts.
