Portrait The Zurlinden Building Cooperative (BGZ) was founded in 1923. The approximately 50 cooperative members are mainly SMEs - small and medium-sized enterprises - from the construction industry as well as the city of Zurich. Today, BGZ owns around 2000 apartments in Zurich and the surrounding area. It is committed to being a non-profit organization and is therefore in a position to offer apartments at long-term favorable rents.

**Mission Statement BGZ sees itself as a pacemaker in future-oriented residential construction. With concise architecture and with courageous pioneer projects it sets signs for a sustainable development. We plan future projects consistently according to the legislative goal of the city of Zurich "2000-Watt-Society" as well as the "SIA Efficiency Path Energy". The complete focus on maximum energy efficiency in planning, construction and operation leads to a massive reduction in energy requirements without any loss of quality of life.

BGZ behaves fairly and reliably towards all partners. It acts and communicates objectively and honestly. It strives for high quality and this is also demanded from all contractors involved.
